Panama Canal Wire Jewelry Cruise (January 2010) ~ Beading Cruises Description

Get off the beaten path and join us on a wire jewelry making adventure this January to break up the winter blues. January is the best time to cruise the Caribbean and Central America. On this cruise we’ll visit Half Moon Cay, Holland America’s award winning private island paradise, Aruba for some fun in the sun, the quaint, colorful and very Dutch island of Curacao, exotic Panama and our favorite place in the Americas, Costa Rica.

The Panama Canal is an engineering feat everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. Transiting the Gatun Locks and and cruising around Gatun Lake surrounded by lush jungle with an abundance of wildlife is a truly memorable experience.

Costa Rica is an artist’s palate of vibrant colors. The vividly colorful flora and fauna of Costa Rica will inspire your creations for years to come. Join others from our group on a tour of Tortuguero. This is Costa Rica’s Amazon. Enjoy the flora and wildlife amidst a maze of winding canals through a rainforest so dense it is not accessible by land. This park protects a wide range of exotic birds, howler monkeys and endangered species such as green macaws, jaguars and several species of sea turtles.
