Join other knitters on this adventure from Prague to Vienna where you'll love shopping for stunning yarn and making new friends in an area of Europe where many Christmas traditions began. With centuries of intriguing history, stunning scenery and foods that will delight your senses this cruise has it all. What's especially amazing is being able to enjoy many of the region's most beautiful cities without having to pack and unpack your suitcase. Visit Europe's oldest, largest and most traditionally popular Christmas craft markets along the Danube. Enjoy private fiber events, sightseeing while making new friends, shopping for yarn and a fun knitalong cruise project with the assistance of Karen Morin, an experienced and knowledgeable knitting instructor and Craft Cruises' trip leader.
Knit a pair of lovely little bed socks that would make a wonderful Holiday gift or a nice treat for yourself. Bring your own needles and a skein of fingering weight yarn that you can pull from your stash or purchase as we travel along the Danube from Nuremberg to Vienna. Participants will learn the magic loop technique and basic sock skills including the Kitchener stitch.
