Description ~ Colorwork Socks
We will be working a colorwork sock, knit from the top down in two colors. This sock is appropriate for a woman's foot. We will be making a shorter version of this sock so that we can also discuss the turning of the heel.
Materials Needed ~ Colorwork Socks
- Approximately 250 yards each of two colors, fingering weight yarn. Make sure the contrast between the two is enough to see your pattern.
- US #1.5 DPN.
- Stitch markers.
Homework ~ Colorwork Socks
With Main Color, loosely CO 68 sts and work 20 rounds of K2, P2 ribbing. Knit 1 round in MC, increasing 2 sts evenly spaced. (70 sts)
