Terms and Conditions

CRAFT CRUISES TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Please read this information about your trip carefully, as making payment represents acceptance of these terms and conditions. Our goal at Craft Cruises is to make sure your trip is worry free and that your entire travel experience is enjoyable. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us. And if you need to cancel for any reason your best bet is to always contact us immediately for guidance to minimize your loss and to expedite your travel insurance claim if coverage is purchased. All program fees, group tours and group transfers are fully nonrefundable once paid unless stated otherwise in writing.


TRAVEL PROTECTION: Craft Cruises recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans can include coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more.


Please Note: To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within15 days (Travel Basic) or 21 days (Travel Select) from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, the plan can be purchased any time prior to departure.

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS: Space and pricing is based on availability and is not guaranteed until payment has posted. Deposits and payment deadlines vary by travel provider. If you are uncertain about deposit and payment schedules for your trip please inquire. Specific details will be given at the time of booking. Once a reservation is confirmed taxes and fees are subject to change until your trip is complete as required by each travel provider. For all Craft Cruise class programs space is not guaranteed until paid in full. All program fees including base fees and hourly fees are nonrefundable once paid.


DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES: To secure space travel providers require deposits. Deposits can range from $100-1,750 per person or can even require payment in full at time of booking. All terms and conditions are per each respective travel supplier and it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these policies at the time of booking. By making payment you are not only entering into an agreement with Craft Cruises but also with each individual travel supplier. Visit each travel supplier's website or contact each supplier directly if you have any questions about terms and conditions. Craft Cruises reserves the right to charge a a $25 per person change fee plus any vendor change fees for all changes made within 30 days of departure.


PRICE: Please contact Craft Cruises for a custom quote based on current availability including all current taxes and fees. Promotional prices can fluctuate daily. All prices listed are quoted in USD and are per person based on double occupancy unless otherwise specified. All rates, taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change without prior notice. Craft Cruises and the travel suppliers we use are not liable for misquotes or errors online or in print. Should the rates go up or down an adjustment will be made in writing. Prices for all services are calculated based on minimum number of participants and since the space is often contracted and prepaid on a group basis, no refunds can be granted for any accommodations, services or events which are not used. Transportation to the ship and pre/post hotels are not included unless otherwise specified. Unless otherwise specified prices listed include the base cruise price and base program fee with port charges, taxes and fees being additional. Non-participants on most ocean cruises may deduct $150 from the price quoted. Prices doe not include items of a personal nature such as alcoholic beverages, sightseeing tours, gratuities and other onboard services.


INSTRUCTORS & CLASS PROGRAMS: Our programs are based on a minimum number of participants and we reserve the right to reduce the number of instructors teaching or replace instructors when events occur beyond our control. The base program fee is nonrefundable once space on the trip is confirmed and deposited. Hourly class fees are due at the time of registration and are nonrefundable once paid.


SINGLE SHARE PROGRAM: If anyone in our single share program cancels for a non-covered reason the person canceling is responsible for paying the single supplement of the person who is still traveling. If you think you are going to change your mind or have a circumstance in your life that is not a covered reason but could force you to cancel the trip do not sign up under our share program.


AIR TRANSPORTATION: Craft Cruises can assist with flight arrangements or you may book your own. Regardless of how flights are secured we do require having your flight details on file at least two weeks prior to departure. Most flights are 100% nonrefundable and any changes, after ticket is issued, carries a mandatory change penalties starting around $300 per person, plus any fare difference.


HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS: Craft Cruises selects moderately priced conveniently located hotels in each city. Generally the best prices for hotels is obtained by booking on Craftcruises.com under our Resource link. If a group block of rooms is set up you will be advised at the time of booking on how to secure the best rate. Hotels are offered on a first come basis and prices are subject to change at any time. Whether Craft Cruises books your hotels or you book your own we require having your pre/post trip hotels on file at least two weeks prior to departure. If you secure your own hotels please send us a copy of your details to add to our hotel manifests. It is solely the responsibility of each passenger to ensure their pre/post trip hotels match their air travel dates. Please double check before departing to ensure your air travel dates match your hotel check-in and check-out dates.


TRANSFERS AND SURFACE TRANSPORTATION: Craft Cruises provides transfer services offered by each cruise line in conjunction with their airport/hotel/ship transfer services. This is typically the most expensive option and we therefore generally recommend using taxis or public transportation such as trains or airport express bus services. In some cases we arrange private shared transfers or provide information on transfer services available in each city visited. Craft Cruises is not responsible if your travel plans change and you miss a transfer or if any of the information provided is wrong. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the transportation options available in the places you are visiting. If you have any questions about transfers and transportation for your trip please contact us for specific details and recommendations.


GRATUITIES: Tips and gratuities are optional and are not included. The average per person per day cruise line gratuity is around $11 per person per day total. This amount is typically added to your shipboard account and may be adjusted if needed. Tipping at airports, hotels and on tours is also not included. Familiarize yourself with proper tipping etiquette before departure.


BEST PRICE GUARANTEE: Craft Cruises offers a best price guarantee. If the cruise line offers a lower promotional cruise fare that applies to your specific sailing and the specific category you selected your price may be adjusted. Craft Cruises reserves the right to not honor any published price that it determines to be erroneous due to human or printing errors. If the cruise line deems it necessary to increase the cost of the cruise due to circumstances beyond their control guests can cancel without penalty rather than accept the increase. This right does not apply to tax increases or fuel surcharges.


FINAL PAYMENTS: Final payments received AFTER the due date will incur a $25 late payment fee (this does not apply to last minute bookings). After the final payment date 100% penalties apply. Please note that any pre-payment for special tours, theater tickets or admissions may be 100% nonrefundable and is at the sole discretion of each individual vendor.


CREDIT CARD DECLINES: It is your responsibility to verify with your financial institution prior to payment being made that you have sufficient funds and that there are no security/fraud prevention measures in place that could result in a credit card decline. Craft Cruises reserves the right to charge a $25 per person per transaction fee for all declined credit card transactions.


PASSPORTS: Passports are required for travel and should be valid beyond six months of our return date. You are responsible for securing proper documentation and immunizations for the countries visited on your cruise or land tour. If you are relying on an exception made by the State Department concerning cruise passengers sailing from and returning to the same US port do know this can change at any time. You must also know that if you travel outside the country on an exception without a passport and must interrupt your trip due to unforeseen emergencies you are solely responsible for all additional costs and arrangements needed for re-entry. If you have any questions please visit the State Department website or call us since it ultimately comes down to what the cruise line requires for each departure.


MEDICAL & BEHAVIORAL ISSUES: We must bepre-advised, in writing, prior to confirming a trip of any conditions, medical, physical, emotional or mental, which may require professional attention or special needs during the trip. If this information is not disclosed Craft Cruises reserves the right to refuse your participation in the trip and you will forfeit the cost of the trip; and in such event we shall have no liability, financial or otherwise. Your safety and comfort as well as the safety and comfort of all our guests is our primary concern as well as that of each travel provider. Also, if you are pregnant certain restrictions might apply and can vary be each travel provider and destination so please inquire. If you require a wheel chair please advise. In some cases you can rent wheel chairs and in other cases you must provide your own. Most airlines provide this service in airports if requested free of charge. Craft Cruises reserves the right to refuse participation to any participant whose condition, whether physical, mental or behavioral, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Craft Cruises and their representatives act only as agents for participants in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any other services in connection with the itinerary. They will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements, however, they do not assume any liability whatsoever, for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property because of any acts of war or terrorism, any act of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any of the services included in the our cruises or any of the pre/post or private shore events arranged on behalf of participants. It is your sole responsibility to understand the agreement that exists between you and the actual contractor rendering the services and that Craft Cruises, the organizer, accepts no responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or any other cause beyond their personal control.


PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO: Craft Cruises reserves the right to use photos or videos for future promotion. If you do not want Craft Cruises to use your image to promote Craft Cruises then you must advise us in writing prior to departure. Once you submit your request to opt out in writing you will receive acknowledgement in writing. If you do not advise us in writing or receive acknowledgment in writing you agree to these terms and conditions.
