Description ~ Knit Your Own Necklace
Lucy likes to wear class appropriate jewelry! This class is the latest addition to her wardrobe. This necklace/bracelet is a fun way to play with a variegated yarn and a perfect carry around project.
Materials Needed ~ Knit Your Own Necklace
- Bring an entertaining yarn (one with different sections of color) e.g. Noro Silk Garden or as election of fun scraps, ideally sport weight or heavier to make things easier to handle. A couple of yards of contrasting similar weight waste yarn.
- At least three double pointed needles, slight smaller than you would normally use for your yarn(preferably rigid, lightweight and not too slippery).
- A handful of stuffing material, fleece roving, toy stuffing or quilt batting scraps.
- Scissors.
- Crochet hook Blunt darning needle
- Usual knitting paraphernalia
