No matter how simple or complicated, knitted shawls mostly conform to some very common shapes. Join Alissa in exploring the possibilities from the simple triangle to circular and everything in between! We will tackle a new shape ideas, learn how the shape is achieved and how to begin incorporating our own ideas into creating something truly unique.
Materials Needed ~ Shawl Shapes
- 3- 50 gram balls of fingering weight yarn, wool works best for blocking purposes, but even cotton or rayons can be used. Steer clear of "fancy" textures or colors. Plain is best!
- 3- US size 6, (4.00 mm) 24" circular needles.
- Set of US size , (4,00 mm) 6" double pointed needles
- Stitch markers
- Graph paper
- Pencils
- Ruler
- Eraser
