Description ~ Unraveling Japanese Stitch Dictionaries

The Japanese are known for their beautiful combinations of stitches. Everything is charted, however their charts in just a tad bit different than our own and they incorporate many unique texture elements such as wrapped stitches, elongated stitches, bobbles. This class will explore what is available in the American market so you know what you are looking at if you find something that does not offer English translations. In class students will make a quick cup cozy to practice some of the more unusual elements together.

• 100 yds worsted weight yarn

• Size 8 needles
